    from left to right thats:

bhallet, belle1, me (adb968008), ralphw, southyorkshireman (on 6100).

I suggested to Ben that he engraves the 18/04/09, 6100 & Llangollen on the top left corner of the headboard, then add each locomotve, date and place as a list each time the headboards used... (It's amazing what idea's "betton grange beer" gives you)

A BIG thankyou to Ralph W for the offer of a courier to bring the brochures over from Peterborough. The Grange team appreciate your support. Look forward to meeting you on later today.

Both charters have done very well and i do hope everyone who et on them is happy with the shots they got.

I've just checked the weather for the weekend and it's good so come on down. Oh and the Scots got it's deflectors back on so it's just another reason to come down and see what's going on.

What an event you chaps put on yesterday (Thursday for the 4-4-0 day). Something going on everywhere I stopped ... and some great beers in the festival as well. And It was one of the quieter days as the time table went - all the trains running were full !
Have put a few pictures up - but lots more to follow when I have time.

Just two pictures to lure you in. Well one, but the second has a story behind it.

This toad is new to the Llan freight set and has only been out for a week now. Last week on Wednesday it was painted in a day so that it could run in the freight set and for a paint job that was done in a day it looks really quite nice.

Last time a coach was painted right before the gala this time members of the 6880 team painted a toad.

Are you sure he was buying a drink and not just teasing Glyn with the sight of money?

Glad to be able to help, and thanks in return for fixing the ride, that's another one ticked off my list.

Actually, it would make a good caption picture:

Bandit: "Honest Sir, I am over 18."

Glyn: "You don't need to pay me to subscribe to NP - It's free."

    Anymore?
