    Unless the NRM has rushed through a complete restoration of Stirling Single No.1, this is not 'fully operational' as the article states.

    Another piece of bad reporting by the BBC. It even states in the film that it is 'driven' on stage each night, while it is fairly common knowledge that it is pushed in by an Class 08 shunter!!!

    In terms of film/theatre it is fully operational, it is not a mock-up, the wheels go round and hold the engine up, there are no hidden wheels...
