    Had a reply from Sustrans:

    "The only notices that we have heard of have been painted onto the actual tarmac itself and subsequently removed. Are these the signs you are referring to?
    Just to emphasise, these signs have nothing to do with Sustrans. I will report any other signs to this effect to our contact at Bristol City Council.
