3205 and 3717 are both now at the SVR ready for gala. 3717's tender will be unloaded in the morning as 3205 and the front end of 3717 are in the way at the moment :)

The station car park will no doubt packed... but there is always the field on the other side of the line which may offer some more space - I suspect the weather will dictate just how busy it is though

I'll be at the Gala Friday and Saturday. I've booked accomodation but may want to ride the trains to about 10 ish. Does anyone know if Kiddy carpark will be open through the nights? If not when do the gates get locked and reopened on Friday night / Saturday morning and Saturday night.

I asked the same question last year, and it was open all night. Whether that has changed this year is another matter, but as services are running all night, I would doubt they would shut the gates, as people will be wanting to leave late or arrive early.

Well they have always left the car park open so I doubt this year will be any different!

Having a last minute opportunity to visit for the Friday would anyone be prepared to assist please with the basic information of whether the 09:00 (non-stop?) Kidderminster to Bridgnorth is a GWR or non-GWR loco? Also what time does Kidder' booking office open?

Brilliant! At least the bit about 'Manston' was correct.
