Ive noticed there are Photo Guides for other railways but not the SVR?
I know of a few good places would like people to share any places they think are well worth a shot?

    My places include:
    Crossing cottage (northbound & Southbound)
    Fotters Bank
    Eardington Station
    The field adjacent to Sterns
Just south of Little Rock cutting
    Waterworks Crossing
The new footpath about 400m south of Hampton loade
The partridge field north of Country Park Halt
    Top of Highley bank
    Fishermans crossing/ Borle Straight
    Arley Station
    Vic Bridge
    Trimpley waterworks
    Northwood
    Horse farm Crossing
    Dowles Junction
    Bewdley North Outer Home
    Bewdley Station
    Bewdley South Signal Box
    Anywhere by the P-way Depot
    Safari park curve
    Bewdley south Down distant

I cant think of any decent shots around KDR off the top of my head.
If anyone has anywhere else please feel free to add to my list.[/list]

Do you have pictures from the locations, on fotopic or similar sites?

If not, anyone else have any? Would be good to eventually have guides to all the heritage lines, or at least some of the more regularly photted!

Thanks for those. I've been trying to get to know the SVR better recently. I take it a lineside pass is needed for some of the spots you mention...?

Is Sterns also known as 'Severn Lodge'?

Two I could add are Falling Sands Viaduct at Kidder and the view of Wribbenhall Viaduct taken from Church View, Bewdley.

    Agreed
Once the 2nd loading dock is complete the fencing will disappear and maybe the shot aswell because the diner set will be stable there, which is a shame

Excellent stuff, have always found locations on the SVR hard to find.

Any chance you could post some directions and notes about some of these locations?

Its the footpath crossing just over the top of Highley bank, where the old miner's Halt used to be. Easily accessible via the footbridge over the river from the Severn Valley Country Park Car Park.

Yes that is most definitely at the top of Highley bank as thats Highley UP distant. It quite a sun trap down that area but nice shot.
