41312 should be good - these locos used to work the line under BR.

Did they? I thought they used STD 3 tanks myself rather than a Micky.

Does sound like the makings of a good event the Q would not be bad for a third visitor or 35006

The Railway Magazine in 1963 (I think it was the November issue) reported the closure of the Severn Valley to passengers, and there was a photo of an Ivatt 2 'Mickey Mouse' on a train at Bridgnorth.

Michael Clemens’ “The Last Years of Steam in Shropshire and the Severn Valley” has pictures of 41203, 41209, and 41240 at various places along the line in 1963. All were based at Shreswbury along with 41202 which also worked the line that year.

Bit off topic, But anyone else alarmed at the NRM of all people calling that bubblecar a diesel "locomotive"...

So can most diesel locomotives, so does that make them all DMU's? :D

if 1450 is double heading I take it no autos?

Disappointing really if they are operational because they don't get a lot of use as it is. Seems pointless having them there.

Would be good if the Venturer did Breakfast at Spring Galas as well, always well taken up at the ASG.

As at 15 Jan it said autotrains but that's not now shown, I don't know I'm afraid.

VIP Breakfast Package at The Engine House for those interested

1450 on Autos gets rather boring, as its all it tends to do! Be good to see it on a 3/4 coach local then DH with another Tank later in the day.

Is when it's not overdone. But just like 6430 at Llan, as soon as anyone hires it an auto coach is not far behind. It's nice to see every so often, but it's also good to see the loco given something of a challenge.
