Hi, I am heading to the steam gala this weekend and noticed the photographic guide is quite an old thread and may be out of date.

Would anyone be able to advise on any good spots between Bridgnorth and Hampton Loade. If so, please could you provide info on how to access.

I am also open to suggestions around any of the stations within 10 minutes walk. Some of the stations themselves provide good photo opportunities such as Bradley, too.

    Thanks in advance.

Around Daniel’s Mill. There’s a footpath up to the track just to the north of the Mill or you can go past the Mill and up the hillside for a view of the viaduct. Hay Bridge, easy to get to from Eardington Halt or the big field to the north

Thanks John. I see plenty of photos from Little Rock and also Severn Lodge. Can anyone advise if these are accessible spots without a line permit?

Little Rock is not on a public path but last time I was there the farmer was friendly. There is a footpath alongside the river to Severn Lodge, if you want to go the other side of the line (there is an occupation bridge) make sure you ask the farmer, he's had instances of sheep rustling and understandably doesn't like people wandering around. If you do see him he appreciates a donation to the Air Ambulance. using the same footpath, or the one the other side of the river going the other way takes you to Victoria Bridge.

Thanks for that info John, that's good to know and I'll be sure to seek permission if I do decide on those locations.
