Is this one 'rovers only' or are normal return fares available as well? That comes across as a terribly 'tight' question to ask I know and if it is rovers only, no problem, I'll still get plenty of value out of it. If a straightforward return is available then splitting the day between Swanage and the Avon Valley gala is a bit more viable.

Thanks for the info regarding fares, guarantees I can make both galas this weekend, and can possibly tempt my wife into a Swanage visit too. I was passing Swanage yesterday morning and dropped in briefly on the off-chance I might coincide with some visitors might be arriving but was probably too early. Had a bit of mild interest with D3591 shunting about a bit before I had to head off towards work. Looking forward to Sunday morning.

All locos except 31806 to face Swanage.

M7 will be turned for DH with U-Boat, but then turned again to face right way for DH with Met1.
