According to the latest issue of Hornby Magazine SR 700 black motor release date won't be until March 2015. GWR Halls 5972 Olton Hall, 4901 Adderley Hall and 4965 Rood Ashton Hall have a release date of February 2015. Only a few more months to wait.

The J15 has been delayed until Feb 2015 as well according to the mail I've received from Hattons this week...

Hornby have announced that the 2015 range will be announced on the 17th December. Looking at the wording of the statement I'm expecting some duplication of recently announced models (I have heard rumours of four companies working on models of the Adams Radial).

Doubt I'll be getting anything soon, as I'm still waiting for o2 No. 30225. Not too long to go by the looks of it. Then the problem lies in the fact that my layout is in South Wales, and I am in York.

If anybody wants an N Gauge Pendolino, they can pledge money on Kickstarter now. There are 59 days left to pledge. In the 12 hours it has been open it has received 12% of the target.

If successful the model will be made by Rapido Trains.

Looking on the Hornby web site tonight. 34001 Exeter has already sold out.

Interesting that Hornby too are going to do the Radial, with Oxford having already announced it and rumours of another company doing one too! I just hope Oxford have success with theirs as their new venture seems very promising and well thought out indeed.

Looking at photos posted online of the Hornby stand at Warley, Hornby are also doing some Period 3 LMS Suburban coaches.

Additional liveries for the Model Rail/Bachmann OO gauge S100/USA class are:
    • MR-105 No. 300 "Frank S Ross" in Longmoor Military Railway livery.
    • MR-106 No. DS 233 in BR Departmental Black livery with late crest.
Model Rail also announced a limited edition Bachmann model of 37068 Grainflow in Railfreight Distribution livery.

All avilable to pre-order at http://www.modelrailoffers.co.uk/

Regarding the duplication of the Adams Radial, my understanding is that Kernow were going to announce an Adams Radial at Warley. When they heard that an Australian company was planning to make one in OO gauge, they started to drop hints on their Facebook. At this point they found out about the Oxford & Hornby models and decided to drop their plans for the Adams Radial.

A shame it isn't a Urie S15. But a great selection of locos from Hornby for next year if they all make it before December 2015.

Never mind, we've got a 12" to the foot Urie to look forward to, it might even be running before the Hornby model!
