OK< through Twyford 6 early but I believe picks up at Reading so should be on time leaving there. Load 12 including support and there are 2 red coaches in between a rake of 9 green. looked superb but don't go looking for a 'clag' shot today !!! Should be warm in those coaches !!

Had a text saying it was through Twyford at 09.50 but did not pass Theale until 10.20 so must of got held up at Reading (due to leave there at 10.02).

I presume this was after Theale as it was about 10 late there, but looks about 40 late at the water stop.

Thanks, I know the scheduled times, but with reports of delays already I'm looking for actual times, I am already subscribed to updates but to much info is better than none.

    Sorry misunderstood your request,

As you say it's a bit early in the day to quote actual times this far down.
Probaly best to keep your eye on this thread as the afternoon progresses.

I'd doubt you will know until it leaves Plymouth.

Currently i am sat at Dawlish, ready to get on at Exeter this afternoon. There are reports of the kitchen/gen on fire(?) and also delays due to poor steaming? What the reason for this,or if that is the actual problem i don't know,i'm sat out in the sun.....

On one of the hottest days of year so far, a fire on board is an awful thought. Really do hope all is ok as everything looked brilliant passing Twyford earlier. Fingers crossed everyone.

D1015b en route to assist king from Taunton to Exeter. Apparently they are hoping to bring the fire round a bit at Exeter.

See from FGW site departures that the Paignton HST from Paddington due to leave Taunton 1233 is running 37 mins late. ??!! Could it be delayed by King or what. Problem is no overtaking places I suppose ??? Can it get past at Taunton ??

Cant believe whats happened today. Been planning today and monday for ages, it would have been a great day chasing all along the GW mainline videoing 6024 and 5029. Loads of shots of the steamers, 1015 on the last leg and,as a bonus for me anyway, 2 56s and 2 37s on charters to Penzance aswell!!!
Left home this morning in wonderful weather,I thought this is the day I will remember for a long time but..........
We got to Wincanton, heading for Midgham for our first shot, the car was seriously overheating. Had to call Green Flag who said it was probably due to blown head gasket. Job stopped.Failed.
So after a tow back, dropping off FC at Sherborne to get to Exeter as shes on crew today, Im at home watching all the reports come through on the Gen groups which is hard as I should be out there!!!
Hope the problems are sorted, dont want anybody elses day ruined like mine has been.

Has anybody got an update? I'm sat in a pub in Dawlish wondering what combination of locos will be coming down the sea wall :)

If its any help I've just seen D1015 (pure fluke - just fired it up and it had caught it waiting in the station loop for the signal!) go past the Dawlish Warren webcam light engine so presumably the train will be back to the planned steam locos. I would have thought that even if 6024 still had a rough fire, the combination with 5029 should still be more than enough to keep to time.
