it's a good job there are some who are prepared to do the less glamorous jobs, especially the volunteers, or else there would be no steam on the main line, or anywhere else for that matter.

What is the postcode & address for the Tyseley Warwick Road pickup for the Coronation Express - Sat 2 April 2011. I don't know the area.

Hmm. Three updates in 5 minutes is a bit much! Still, at least we know the train is on its way. Admin's on board today, isn't he?

Made the treck to Small heath this morning. Was a tad wet but a wonderful sight and sound as they accelerated towards Birmingham.

For such a high profile tour, I can't believe there have been no posts since 10.15 this morning.

A great day out to see tour and 6023 at Didcot. Was astonished with the amount who turned out, a great day in takings for the Didcot Railway Centre i would say.

All locos were turned out very nice, however i question how some fools thought it was ok to clime up non operational exhibits such as the diesel 08 shunter and the steam loco near to the turntable. One numpty was on its roof to snap 6023 being turned!!

Any way please see my shot of tour today at going up Sapperton at Frampton Mansell footcrossing. Thanks to Vintage Trains for running tour today.
