If 47245 has to goto Norwich, and a crew has to first get to Ilford..

My guess its at least 4 hours before there's any action at Norwich, unless of course there's an Anglian trains rabbit pulled from the hat.

as and another (presume 57) has to get to Liverpool st to collect..it maybe easier to terminate at Stratford and let 47245 take the stock around the ELL.
    We shall see.

Listen to the beat in the previous video and you can hear that things are not right. Either that or the reverser is in a strange position.

Not surprised Tangmere is crocked, its been the kingpin of most Southern tours these last few months, shouldering more than its fair share of the work. I know it throws a fit now and again traction wise, but its been a real stalwart. Without it there would have been many cancelations.

This clip might be of some interest.
My shot of Tangmere at Manningtree was supposed to be an hors d'oeuvres followed by the main course - the train crossing the River Yare on the 110 year old Reedham Swing Bridge on the line between Norwich and Lowestoft.
When I filmed this I thought the bridge was closing in preparation for Tangmere's arrival. Alas! I was wrong.
Be warned, the bridge closes very slowly!

Oh dear no, don't want videos infected with all that bells and whistle's foreign muck. Just plain old steam pudding on here please.

There's a couple on Flickr (not mine), just type in '47828' in the search bar, click on 'recent' and they should appear. If I had remembered 828 was a DRS one I'd have probably been at Liverpool St myself!
