Excellent coverage by all concerned, when you get quality like this it's unfair to single anyone out for a special mention, all have your own styles.

45321 this am in solo charge. A very vocal and spirited departure from Lancaster.

Sorry to read of later delays but here is a video from earlier in the day at Bamber Bridge, Chatburn (with barking dog), just after Gisburn and Stainforth:

Thought members should read this from Roly Parker WCRC Guard
Taken from Steam locos Yahoo group

    Neil

Well meaning correspondents really should get clarification of the facts before
sending out emails which can and do cause misinformation.

Just because you may see, or may have heard, that a steam locomotive was taking
water, does not mean to say that it was short of water. I'm sure Ian Riley will
    back me up on this.

In this case, today, a class 158 en route from Leeds to Carlisle struck a large
bale of hay on the down line short of Langwathby. The collision rendered the
unit a failure and unable to move under its own power. Â 45231 on the 'Fellsman'
was held up behind it at Kirkby Stephen, in the end for 126 minutes.
During this time discussions were held with the Tour Operator and as time went
on it was decided to try and cut out the Appleby water stop. A search was made,a
hydrant located and whilst waiting to travel forward, the tender was filled.
    Very much forward planning.

Once the train moved forward, the Appleby stop was cut out: the train was
stopped at Culgaith where it set back onto the Up line and continued wrong line
to Howe & Co. sidings, passing the stranded 158 before reverting back to the
down line and arriving in Carlisle at 1535.
    I was there. !!!

    Roly Parker.

    A very good sequence.

Lovely location, good action, a very steady camera set up nicely and with the minimum of movement from the camera.

And it ends with the train running through the shot. :)

    Many thanks.
