    John, nice shots of a wonderfully turned out engine, (although the link had to be cut and pasted). I don't think I have seen it run. Does anyone know if it is likely to be seen in the West?

    Wasn't that the chorus to a song from the rather blue comedian Roy Chubby Brown - adapted from a Smokey hit -- oh no, that went something like "Alice, Alice, who the ? is Alice

    About 10 or so mins before Leander appeared a chap stopped to ask whether a steam tour was coming as he'd enjoyed watching Sunday's "Waverley" near Appleby. I was already set up just the other side of a gate.
    In the meantime he phoned a colleague -- worked for NHS, based on uniform, and I thought he'll move away if it comes / stop talking. But no, he carried on chatting.
    If I'd been using my usual camera with the directional mic it probably wouldn't have picked up the conversation.
