Yes. A standing joke at the railway is that the line goes down in the 'up' direction and up in the 'down' direction. Used to get some really puzzled looks when I told that to visitors to the signal box. o_O :)

If anyone's interested - approximate heights above sea level:-
    Abergwili 10 metres
    Bronwydd 25
Danycoed 50 (Current end of track)
    Cynwyl 55
Llanpumsaint 85 (North end of Gwili owned track bed)

There used to be an interesting gradient map in the signal box at Bronwydd - but that disappeared quite a while ago (before I moved away so not guilty Your Honour...) can't seem to find anything other than a very blurred copy on line either...

Awesome seeing moorbarrows overhaul progressing, impressive display of in house capabilities.

I remember when moorbarrow arrived she was on loan, is she now owned by the railway or the preservation society?

Haulwen will be next, boiler work has started and work will commence on the chassis as soon as Moorbarrow is finished.

A vintage carriage update this time-

work on GWR 216 is presently focused on the door ventilators. Note the advert proclaiming where you can acquire basket luncheons! Lots of filling, sanding, woodwork repairs to keep us busy. Also ready to fit to the roof are two pepper pot ventilators (originals).

meanwhile the springs on coach TVR 220 have been removed and sent away for repair.

    regards

The P Way team are out again relaying three panels of track near bridge 8.

also work continues on the fences at Bronwydd as our refurbished GWR spear fencing is erected in the car park.

    I see Matt78 has already answered your question, but . . .
. . . for future reference [shameless_plug] you can always get a list of locos at any heritage site from http://www.heritage-railways.com/locosdb/locos.php [/shameless_plug]. I can't gaurantee it to be 100% accurate, but I'd like to think its pretty close. :)

Rosyth is now at the Pontypool and Blaenavon railway, the sentinel was at P & B but has just moved to a new home. Trecatty also moved to P & B but I believe it has since been scrapped. I think Swansea Jack moved to the Teifi Valley and has also been scrapped.
