Hi matt, the progress is amazing! Will the focus after spring be on consolidating and further developing abergwili or heading north to conwil?

    Kind regards,

    hi Tom

not sure yet, probably a pause for breath! We continue to collect rail as opportunities permit which will allow us to extend the line in addition to carrying out renewals on the existing sections. Aside from that there remains much to be done at Abergwili after this phase including second platform and permanent buildings.

    regards

    Matt

One plan will it be to change the colour of the carriages as the green ones could look better. I like the plan for the station

If you mean the green ones with the red stripe, they’re owned or sponsored by (I think) Felinfoel Brewery, and that livery is their choice I think

Just so happened that we needed a 5 car set which necessitates top and tail and we had 2 x steam locos available with crews so decided to put both out.

    Regards

    Matt

Very attractive .... and that's coming from a Southern type! The design always puts me in mind of the rebuilt (but sadly long gone) ex- CM&DPR MW pair.

Aberaeron Signal box work continues with cast iron guttering being attached.

Not the 12.30 to Aberystwyth but 43056 did move under its own power today for the first time in preservation.
