Possibly the most important trip of the year for WC, given the reported attendance of on ORR Inspector on the footplate, and we're dealing with paint froth... :Saywhat:

I just hope all goes well for all concerned. Looking forward to updates. Is anyone from this parish on board?

I hope that he was asked to produce some ID and authorisation. As someone who carried out safety audits it is re-assuring to be asked for proof (of anything and everything that might have a bearing on safety).

Mildly ironic that 45699 should be the substitute given its absence from the advertised double headed jubilee Hadrian in March and the first WCME in January.

You did well to get that shot framed so perfectly.

Not sure a bit of the usual friendly banter here will impact on what happens on the footplate of the Jub today.

I would be amazed if any one here, those indulging in banter and those being deadly serious, want anything other than a perfect day for WC today. Damn sure we all want that.

I hope you're right of course, but over the years, one lesson I've learned is that it can be a mistake to judge others by your own standards, even those you think you know!

Looks like it's missed out the Appleby water stop thanks to the diesel assistance. Appleby 10 early, Kirkby Stephen 26 early.

Is the Duff there for an actual reason or WCRC playing safe with ORR in attendance ?.

Suspect we won't get an answer to that. Draw your own conclusions basically!
