RTT now says the return leg is running via Bolton. Can anyone confirm this before I decide where to go tonight?

Great footage as usual despite the conditions Steve. Decided to give it a miss today in the circumstances so nice to see others efforts. Looking forward to a daylight solo outing of 45690 though.

Thanks Danny , I could not believe just how strong the wind was as it nearly took the car door off and I struggled to stand up straight on the walk to the summit but at least it was a bit sheltered there !

It seems that TWO steam tours have been heavily delayed today due to NR's infrastucture.
Are they going to fine themselves?

According to RTT, it's now left Milford Loop running 70 late.

Well, there is a mechanism for Network Rail to compensate TOCs for delays. But, it is skewed in the favour of....... Network Rail, to a certain extent.

Thanks Andy, I find panning relatively easy when it's not windy, hence why we went in the valley bottom where it was sheltered. I hadn't planned to do the shot from Scout Green however the wind was a little too strong to go up on a hillside in the Lune Gorge...
