    Yes very impressive, and worked with no zoom as well. Also proves how invaluable a tripod is, no shakes makes the difference between what would have been a so so shot to being a great shot.

    Like Alistair I also videoed No.7 using a Canon 7D, but at Knebworth instead. She sounded superb climbing away from the station stop at Stevenage. Unfortunately due to the chavs on the platform I had to move to the far end of the platform, so most of the video is just a couple of signals and a headlight in the distance! Still, sounds ok. When I finally get internet sorted at my new house I'll upload the video to YouTube. Using a Blackberry for internet is a pain!

    Did you take one before that, it would be interesting if you did with the loco where the 2nd or 3rd coach is..

    Thank you for the kind words mark, i had started to get a bit miffed off with everytime going to see previous charters at this location, that they had always come on the slows. Percivierance has finally come off lol.

    I did have a shot before that Ralph, but may have deleted it as the mast of the OLE was right near smokebox of no 7. if i have it i will pm it to you.
