Please let's not have another ill-tempered debate about trespass. It does nobody any good to wash this dirty linen in public.

    Re: Te Royal Duchy 2012

    Once again your sarcasm strikes....

Your various other posts aimed at me over the weekend were not replied too as I have spent three nights away from home sleeping in a compo helping to keep railtours moving. During this time net access is often poor and I have more important things to do than trying to get online to respond to your cheap jibes.

Does anyone know which locomotive is taking this Sunday's tour to Cornwall?

No, but my money is on 34067. Will be interesting to to compare with 70013 if I'm right.

Is the load fixed at 9 ?, I know 34067 has taken 8 over the banks before without trouble, but had the benefit of linespeed through Newton Abbot.

    Re: Te Royal Duchy 2012

My info sheet lists coaches A - G. Add the support coach and that makes 8. Is there a kitchen car in the consist? If so that would make it 9.

    Re: Te Royal Duchy 2012

One behind you in coach F with a couple of other 34081 madmen. :)
Naturally we'd prefer 34067 but there'll be no complaints if it's 70013 as per the RTC info sheet. Not looking forward to the 05:45 start and the 01:00 return home the next morning though.

    Re: Te Royal Duchy 2012

Also in coach G. Set looks like the same as the other two runs so that would make the load 9 (7 passenger+POB+Kitchen).

Driving down from Beds very early on Sunday morning. Where's the best place to park apart from Temple Meads itself?

Presume standard class still leading on the return leg.
