See 6024 is now listed on http://www.uksteam.info/tours/trs10.htm#twk on the VSOE for Wednesday 14th July
Now going to Yeovil on Thursday 15th July.
Hopefully time will come up next week for the VSOE trip.
On another note to cut cost would it not be better for 6024 to now go all the way to Paddington.

I think if you ask Network rail's new computer to start re-thinking things it'll just give up and die

There seem to be a good number of updates coming through the text service. It seems people have now got the hang of the codes etc.

The reason for the late departure was,the previous Overnight Sleeper on platform 1 in Paddington was late(empty coaches) departing through diesel problem(engineer on duty fixing it) and didn't move off until just after 8am.Thus King & stock was held up outside platform waiting to get in.They also needed to top up the water where on Plat 1 they have a manhole cover you lift just for that.
So it was all rush before the finale whistle.

P.S.The Box was left behind in the platform at Paddington after a little nudge.

I found an item, I assume dropped by a photographer, on Kemble Station yesterday when 6024 was there. If anybody has lost something and can describe it, I will send it back to you.

Super Shots Bill, another one of your spots I am going to try one day!!! I was at Chalford and Kemble Wick, the climb of Sapperton was awsome!!!
