Well; Twyford like you've never seen it....Henley Regatta people on the way home. Shuttle 4 coach turbo Henley-Twyford; London bound non-stop HSTs stopping and all very colourful with transport police everywhere. What a backdrop then for the non-stop Royal Wessex past a platform 2 full of waiting passengers. Anyway, couple of minutes late but stormed through on the main looking superb. Tried a video amidst onlookers..up later.

Bit late, but a nice sight at Reading West as it opened up when the signal cleared at the end of the platform. A male "worse for wear" was a bit perplexed I think.
Again I say, looks like I was the only person to send texts all day!

Yeah, seems that we don't get so much interest on here lately. Shame there's no pics of Tangmere this morning; I notice that Tornado's trip is barely mentioned on her neither. (or either???) Oh well

Forgot to mention that 70000 Brittania also went through Twyford this morning a few minutes ahead of Tangmere, with support coach. What a steam day at Twyford, three engines !!!

RTL is only as good as the information that people send in, it relies on people seeing the train and then sending in an update, if no one can be bothered to send in updates then it won't work.

I actually had been logged off and when you view posts without logging on, perhaps it shows BST. ! ! ! At least its set my mind at rest in tat I'm not going completely mad...just have to make sure I log on in future !! Computers!!!! LOVE EM

Strange about the time as similar happened to me Pete - had a few minutes to look at computer this afternoon during a rather busy day and had a very quick panic to see a post apparently timed well before 4pm saying they were on the way! as I may well have missed Cromwell if that was correct Checked again and time was showing as what is should be. Phew!!

Cromwell made an excellent and very noisy climb of Parkstone Bank and there was more people on my local bridge than I can recall seeing before for a steam working to enjoy the spectacle.

Tangmere looked good going through Branksome dinner time as well.

I appreciate that, this is what I am getting at. As I said I was the only one to update this all day. It's alright having other methods like apps, internet access out & about etc, but everybody does not have access to them. Text messages are available to all & cost nothing to send these days for most.

I was sat in the second passenger coach after Tangers (3rd coach of the formation) and I don't think she sounds entirely right compared to various other spamcans (and indeed how she herself has sounded previously). Just at the high point of each "beat" there seems to be a slightly metallic noise, and she didn't seem to ride as smoothly as 70013.

I would assume that not being logged in is the reason as when you set your preferences you select timezone and BST etc. When not logged in it uses default.

I saw Tangmere from the footbridge at the end of the Ashurst (New Forest) curve. She was going like the clappers and attempting to blank out the entire New Forest with clag! Pretty spectacular, but I hope that this wasn't an indication of anything wrong.
