A few snaps of the S&D in it's dormant state while I was in the area, hopefully Midsomer Norton - Chilcompton gets woken up before too long: http://daviddepperphotography.zenfolio.com/p620472844#h69b38ead

Also Sandford Station on the Wells - Yatton Line, which I came across purely by chance, seeing a Mk1 in a housing estate!: http://daviddepperphotography.zenfolio.com/p575635674#h6784236e

Yes I am an active volunteer
    Super shots.

The Sentinel steam loco at Sandford has only just arrived in the last few weeks, it was cosmetically restored at the SVR. It used to be the gate guardian at Tytherington Quarry, and was the machine previously in Welshmill Playground in Frome, and before that worked at Whatley Quarry, and the branch to BR, before the new link line opened early 70s.

The mark 1 at Sanford - is from a VEP or CEP if I remember correctly, the station building hosts a very very pleasant museum on the Cheddar Valley railway.
