    Haha, now now Stuart...

Well there were only two universities in the country that were advertising the course when I applied last year, Edge Hill at Ormskirk near Liverpool and the other been Sunderland, although I was turned down a place at Edge Hill due to the nerves taking over at the interview. Having said that I much preferred the campus at Sunderland and it was a far more laid back atmosphere up there along with the fact only around 5 - 10 people are accepted at Sunderland appose to nearly 60 at Edge Hill meaning more one to one tuition so would most likely have ending up choosing Sunderland even with a place at Edge Hill. I just need to find somewhere to sleep now :-s .

Judging by the number at Garforth I'd say there's going to be a glut of photos today, so I'll get one in early, 70013.

I was wondering where you'd got to, where's the Arthington shot?

I was visiting the NRM Search Engine today and got to York just in time to see her depart at 09.20 - a splended sight and sound. Train only about a quarter full but I guess it fills up for the Scarborough leg.

Lovely Photos Stuart & "Swampthing" I was only around the corner at Manston Crossing this morning, nice easy morning :)

Was running about 10 - 15 minutes early this evening at Church Fenton and going like the clappers, and came straight down the fast line...

It was still going like the clappers going through Horsforth Cutting at 20:10; the last time I heard or saw anything that fast was 92220 back in ‘83 or ‘84. What 1-in-100!

Stuart that has got to be the best shot I have seen in recent years, the idyllic English country scene. It could have been 50 years ago, nothing modern in sight, well just one, but I'm not going to pick you up on that. :D No pylons, TV aerials or even cars.
Please don't go and spoil it and say you have photo shopped it...
David, never mind blowing 99% it's the full 100% for me.

Definatley being driven well tonight with it a good 10 mins ahead coming into Harrogate. Sounded superb coming off the ex crimple junction over the viaduct and up to us at Hornbeam park.

That shot has an almost HDR ish quality to it, can only be Arthington viaduct. Excellent to see such quality shots produced on my local patch.

Well with my mate Peter "chimney chatter" Walker at the controls what would you expect??

The only problem is I must find my hat - about half a pound of cinders in me hair tonight

Perhaps that's why I never suffered the baldy syndrome
