Tornado departed Peterbrough at 12:20. Trains being brought to a stand by Peterborough box due to the large number of photographers TRESPASSING on the line in very dangerous places.

Expect slow running from here south.

Was 20 late from Peterborough. I am on the 12.34 from Pboro to KX. (goto love Wifi).

Passed it at Huntingdon, after delaying this train. It is now on the upslow with 2 service trains in front of it (13.20pm now).

    LOADS of line side trespassing

Either the train was early into London and the BBC are very quick with getting stuff online, or they have a time machine! (The video being uploaded at 11.02!)

Hope to get chance to see 60163 at Gospel Oak(North London Line) on the empty stock move from Bounds Green to Southall. Due through about 17:48 and only 5 mins walk from home. I would appreaciate if any one is able to confirm the stock move is still expected to leave Bounds Green at 17:22.

    Martin,
Going by the crowds at my chosen location the vast majority of photters were joe public out with a camera. I know my local photographic "Mafia" but barely recognised a single soul this time.

Probably those who should know better. Joe P is more likely to assume danger and stay clear, some photters seem to think they are invincible, and above the law.

the PR machine has been very effective in both press and TV so Joe Public is far more informed

I'd disagree with you in that most enthusiasts are more "rail aware" than the public who will climb over a fence to get that uninterrupted view

we await to see with interest

Sorry about that but I didn't know there were 2 trains but if it's coming in about 10 it'll be a bit late for me.

Anyway found this on Youtube and shows how busy Kings Cross is.
