Thanks for posting that Matt, excellent shot and sound.
The location is a popular one, but where else is there in the area without trespassing, where you can get such an action shot.

The move to BH is returing by the route Brian suggested earlier (via Sheff).

Atleast he's getting adventurous and venturing off Deighton platform!

Another 10 years and he may make Huddersfield or Brighouse.

Another quality set of photos-the linked one should have been deleted in seconds never mind showing to all to highlight his lack of photography skills.

Hopefully the hypothermia caught waiting for D1015 from 31/10 may be the final straw.

Not the best of days - all but bowled on Miles Platting by an inbound Sprinter

Chinley East digi shot blurred - but beautifully in focus leaves three feet from the lens!

At least Penistone was OK - even if some late running plonker in an orange Railtrack jacket did his best to get in the way

Then the trusty Escort's clutch collapsed at Lockwood - specs plate lift home -at least we had reached the viaduct before it went "bang!"

The train itself was a treat - well handled, noisy, and well on time

Will have to wake up the Red Bird to get to Glasgow in the morning! - more expense!
