Note I said "similar" so a red and yellow Class 5 would fit the bill nicely. :)

What about a bright red and yellow Class 7, formerly based in Norfolk?

Another trademark late posting, of photos taken from this weekends trip.

Many thanks go to Alberta 45562 for providing the details of the location just outside of Barnsley suggested earlier in this thread. After witnessing and hearing the display the two 5's gave climbing up the 1 in 50, lets say im glad i travelled up north from northants!

Feel free to have a look at the link below of my photos of the tour.

Quote:despite the fact that the train didn't actually reach Holmfirth itself!

whilst making a delivery in that area, I passed through Slaithwaite the film crew were all about the village including the cast with Compo sat on the kerb with a stick with string on it dangling down a drain, they were'nt all shot in holmfirth.

OK, I can live with that, I thought your postings about throwing it in the river etc. were........."unfortunate". My own view? If I can watch a steam tour blasting up Miles Plating, they can nail a plank of wood to the smokebox door if they want. I won't have any objections.;)

Maybe I was using the word "outraged" a bit tongue in cheek but then again I wasn't responsible for the posts calling those responsible for the headboard "a buffoon" or hoping it had been "thrown in a river." From a personal viewpoint when I'm on a steam special I don't care what the headboard is as I can't see it from the train and when I'm on the lineside I'm happy for the operator/loco owner to put what he likes on the front. It's nice if the headboard is appropriate for the route but it's not the end of the world if it isn't.

I like the shot of them leaving Blackburn, well done. Only thing i would suggest is that you cut about 15 seconds off the start time until they can be heard ;)

    Cheers,
    Mark
