Yes. The WCML is shut between Preston and Lancaster from Saturday afternoon. It looks like the 2 Fives will bring down the diesel on the back to Manchester in readiness for it hauling the train back north on Sunday evening. RTT shows a light engine move from Platform 3 into the turn back siding just after the Tin Bath has departed Manchester Victoria.

Stated on another forum the locos are detached at Manchester Vic on the return working. The train reverses and is diesel hauled to Preston. Locos & PO Brake return to Bury.

    Cheers, Neil

UK Steam suggests steam comes on at Sheffield, a disappointed lot of travelers if correct. Touch and go for the photographers at Copy Pit, for the light.

Curious, but might be a typo. Ticket suggests its running as planned. There is also a Blackburn to Preston move on the same site that morning, although that might be the stock because of engineering work north of Preston. There's also a LE move from Castleton to Blackburn on 14 February:

It would be a bit strange to come on at Sheffield when Bury is only c20 miles from Victoria.

Very disappointed if that's the case but I suspect it's a UKSteam mistake.
Based on RTT I anticipate (& hope for) the following movements on Sunday:
5Z54 Diesel leading ECS Blackburn - Preston steam on rear
1Z54 Steam leading diesel on rear Preston – Manchester Victoria
    0Z54 Diesel into turnback siding
1Z54 Steam Manchester Victoria – Sheffield
1Z55 Steam Sheffield – Manchester Victoria
0Z55 Diesel turnback siding to Manchester Victoria
1Z55 Diesel Manchester Victoria - Preston
5Z56 Steam & POB Manchester Victoria - Castleton

It is steam as advertised, ie. Preston - Man Vic - Sheffield - Blackburn - Man Vic.
