    Good news on 46115!

Timings are no longer showing on UKsteam, has anyone got up to date timings particularly for the Shipley, Keighley, Skipton to Hellifield sections both ways.

    Thanks

I'm wondering whether 46115 may be added at Hellifield on the outward leg

I noticed that thet the times which were shown on uksteam.info for tomorrow (SATURDAY) were identical to those for last SUNDAY, which seemed rather unlikely, so I'm guessing that David has removed them pending a revised set of timings.

46115 is reported to have been seen near York this afternoon with support coach plus one other. The RYTC Website states 08:51 off York in the morning.

The times that were on UK Steam the other day were the same as last Sundays which I highly doubt will be applicable on a Saturday between York and Leeds.

The RYTC website gives the 'actual' times...
    York 8.51
    Leeds 9.50
    Skipton 10.47

Given that there's a service train which departs Settle at 11.46, and we can assume that 46115 will arrive for water at Hellifield at 11.05 (based on 10.47 Skipton and 18 minutes allowance), I would bet that 46115 would follow this, which in theory would make it about 11.55/12.00 at Settle, 12.15/20 at Ribblehead and 12.55/13.00 at Appleby - i.e. about 15-20 minutes earlier than last Sunday's times.

Sounds about right - the RTC website gives an arrival time of 14.05 at Carlisle - 14.minutes earlier than last Sunday.

Latest I have heard on this is arrived Carlisle at 13.57. If anone is lineside for the return and would like to send in an update re this tour the code is t0730d. There was very little info on the Railtours live system for the outward run.

    Thanks, Neil.

Thanks for sharing a superb image with us. Apart from the high intesity light on the front bufferbeam it is pure late 1950's early '60s. Who would have thought we would see such sights 43 years on from the end of steam....

While being very partisan in another thread about Stuart's photography your sentiments are absolutely correct and it's a great to see images of an engine like 'Scots Guardsman' out on the mainline regardless of the photographer.
