Real Train Times shows a 24 mins late arrival at York. Only three down at Hambleton Nth. Jct yet was 27 down by Colton Jct. just down the road. Wonder what went wrong.

Someone posted a comment on a Facebook page saying that there could have been lubricator problems. The same guy was inside the NRM and took a photograph of a member of the support crew inside the NRM, with 92220 becoming a 'donor' for 70013.

Ollie being loud and brash as usual in the pouring rain at Hadley Wood this morning.
Check out that loose headlight dancing to the cylinder thrusts.

Thanks. Its 'East Coast's' livery on their Mk4's, on what I guess was a ECS working to Kings Cross.

Same here.

I did see some WCRC support crew walking round the NRM but not looking at 92220 but might explain why she was quite late arriving and departing York. She seemed to be on time taking water at Doncaster (where I passed her twice on the way and on the way back).

I did see 60009 which was in the North Yard with cod mouth open so I managed my personal best for A4's in a day so far of 4 and have now seen all 6 surviving A4's (something I thought I would never do).

Here are my pictures of 70013 and a couple of 55002 Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. http://s818.photobucket.com/user/DanHill1991/library/The White Rose 22nd June 2013#/user/DanHill1991/library/The White Rose 22nd June 2013?sort=3&page=1&_suid=13719305685880394790306634879

After leaving York nearly an hour late 70013 passes the assembled throng at Colton Junction.......LINK

The weather had been p**s poor all day, as you can see.

Well Saturday evening was fun!

Went out to see this one, got there a head of booked time, just in case they made up some time on the late running, when we got to Welham Green there were already a few people waiting, so we all waited and waited and then began wondering with the impending engineering blockade in the local area due to to come into force at 8pm whether or not Ollie would make it through in time............................ as it happens whilst we were waiting one of the locals ambled onto the platform and told the assembled throng that she had just left Hitchin and would be through in about 15 minutes and exactly an hour down she hove into view!

Below is a link to the best of the bunch, as the weather didn't play ball, it was supposed to be a glorious sunny evening and I was hoping for the whole train to be glinting in the setting sun - sadly not as the ever moving cloud cover put paid to that, and typically not long after the train had gone through the sun broke through!

Still it was nice to see Ollie back in action again. :)

OLLIE

BTW Swiss Toni, just how do you do that LINK thing?.............................................................................

In case there are others on here who would like to know how to do this 'link' thing.

Now I hope this works!!!!

This should open a 'link' to the meccano magazine which is freely available on line. Note it is now a French site .

type
LINK

note the square brackets

as here

LINK[/url

note. I have deliberately missed out the last bracket to stop it working'

will now type it again with the last bracket in place.

LINK

Well it does work!!:)

Note you can use any word/phrase in place of LINK.

Hope this is of help.;)

Edit. Admin please move this as you want.
