Anyone know what the impact of this might
Do we know what the impact of this might be as my dad was going to pop out to Mills Hill to catch a glimpse.

taken from National Rail enquiries Last line says it all

Emergency engineering works between Hebden Bridge and Blackburn means trains cannot run between these stations. Buses will replace trains between Hebden Bridge and Blackburn, extending journey times by up to 30 minutes.

This is expected to continue until approximately 23:00.

Please note: Trains are now running normally between Hebden Bridge and Manchester Victoria.

Popped out to see this today at Barnsley, just near Dodworth, and then managed to drive to Penistone to watch the train crossing the viaduct. Lovely to see, lovely weather- only spoiled by some stupid (dangerous) driving & parking by a handful of the spectators/photographers at Penistone.

More train in the landscape with this shot at Nether Booth, could have done with a little sign of exhaust but it is downhill here and a very mild first day of November I have to say .The autumn colours were just superb in the Hope Valley .

Footage of 44871 & 45407 passing a gloomy Atherton this morning, followed by a gloriously sunny steam in the landscape shot from the top of Eccles Pike overlooking Chinley.
