    I've seen shots of gas turbines mounted on trucks used to dry oval race tracks in the US.

    Found it,
    go to 1.22.

    But not always goes as planned.

    Brings back memories of the early 'portable' Rover gas-turbine high pressure seawater pump we used to have stowed on the quarterdeck, as an emergency fire fighting back-up. Had to hand crank to start the damned thing, real character building stuff. Recall more than one idiot not realising how hot the exhaust was and walking past it only to dance around with charred legs.:eek:
