    Nope, Steve just means that 1930s diesel-mechanicals need proper driving. Not just seating in a seat surrounded by switches and contactors and pushing control levers (like I was doing in 'D2999' all weekend - hurray!) ;-)

    There's a difference between knowing and doing. Once we get the clutch properly sorted it might improve things, as you know! =D>
