Well said KY. I bet it reads even worse after you've had what sounds like an idyllic break studying the owls, and no doubt enjoyed some really interesting sights and sounds, only to come back to all this all too familiar nonsense.

To think you even went to the trouble of setting up a "Fight" thread for those that thrive on such things, and nobody bothers to use it : )

The best so far was sitting in my car in daylight next to six Juvenile Short-eared Owls all perched and waiting for mum to feed them, (the adult male for that territory was a road kill I found a few weeks back).

I was so close I had to photo each one individually.

I stayed a short while and then left them, as at that stage being between the adult and the young delays feeding. The next day I got four of them perching and a fifth flying in, all in the same shot. :). Somehow getting sufficient depth of field quite close up with my 300mm lens to get them all in focus. :) :).

So it was a bit sad to return here and read the goings on. But we have free speech and I guess none of us are forced to read every thread.

Does anyone on here seriously think I would ever do anything to harm a passenger?
    I sincerely hope not!
