    Many thanks for the vids and phots of a rather excellent day out.
    60 over the top of Shap ain't bad, just imagine what it could have been if 5043 hadn't had to tow that lump of Crewe metal as well.:D
    Stuart has anyone told you that with a bit of practice you might become a half decent railway photographer?:p
    Once again thank you to the linesiders for giving us support crew a view of the action that we otherwise wouldn't get to see.

    Almost looks like a plausible pairing.. Indeed that castle with the right tender could almost look like a jubilee :)

    Has there ever been a castle+duchess pairing before ?

    Strewth, that is posh. I'm still trying to move on from blurred, dark, out of focus images where half the loco is not even in the shot! LOL!
