Going through my video, I could see quite a lot of faces through the windows, but I was much lower than the train, and so couldn't see beyond the window seats.

Only did Gloucester- Cardiff and back, but it was an excellent day out. 4965 ran well in both directions and the weather was much better than forecast. We were held up on the return for about 15 minutes near Maindee East Junction as a car had crashed into the lineside fencing and caught fire. All trains were stopped until the fire brigade gave the OK. We made up 10 minutes between there and Gloucester - in fact, once we got up to 60mph, we seemed to be carrying on at that sort of speed all the way apart from the restriction through Chepstow. Loads of people out with their cameras and I'll be looking forward to seeing some pictures and clips.

Thank you and well done again to Vintage Trains.

Nice video, thanks for sharing. I'm the guy messing about down by the crossing...

Didn't expect to see the sun out today given the forecast, was lovely but in the wrong place at the wrong time unfortunately!

Caught the quick stop at Worcester on my way home. Also have some shots from the bridge over the Avon at Eckington this morning, not the best as the wind was blowing the wrong way and it was still cloudy but I'll probably share at some point.

What a wonderful trip to Cardiff yesterday. 4965 had a nice steady run on the outbound journey, with the engine keeping to the timings throughout.. for me the return journey was the best Ive seen 4965 on a trip. She was working hard on the leg from Gloucester to Worcester over 60mph for majority.. then the departure from shrub hill, the regulator being opened up and the sound of the engine to rainbow hill tunnel was quite something.. 4965 then breeze through kidder minster chiming psst SVR onto Stalybridge.. then the climb of old hill again the best Ive seen 4965.. once passing Cradley Health, the engine someone slowed down and regulator opened up. The noise 4965 was making all the way up the bank especially the echos and the thick black smoke, fire sparking out the exhaust was quite memorable.. all in all a very good trip again by VT. and it was the weather that made it a real enjoyable day. Cant wait for the Liverpool trip.

Some nice vids and phots there chaps, I enjoyed watching them.
As usual an immaculately turned out engine, we wouldn't expect anything else from TY though would we.

I'll add my vid to the collection, hope you enjoy.

What a terrific day. I don't remember which dance we did to get the weather right, but it worked!

Time to get ready for the next one....
