    I am hoping to find a vintage fire engine to attend a railway based event in North Wales over the June bank holiday weekend.

    There is a 1916 Dennis N type fire engine looked after by some students at Imperial College, London. They have certainly taken it as far afield as the Isle of Wight (for the summer bank holiday steam rally), so who knows - maybe they could be induced to take it to North Wales?

    Just seen this. Boston Lodge are just statically refurbishing a steam fire engine that is being looking after by the apprentices at the Nuclear power station on Anglsea. I don't know if it will be ready in time for you but I can see if I can find you some contact details when I get a chance.
