Are there any clues to which engine's likely to be working Sunday's Waverley ?

It will also probably need a block of time out before it is sent south with Steam Dreams...away from home and all that....

If it is 46115 that shall be tour 18 for 2015. Should it be Galatea tour #20.

I see yes heading south with STDR and back wit RYTC.
Had assumed the former would take 46233 back south having worked the northern leg to Carnforth.

More like Ribblehead surely with the left hand line leading to the Quarry siding; Thomas looks like it's on Carlisle - Preston route learning duties.

Cracking day for it, considering the load, Galatea made easy work of it, after a standing start at Settle jct. Gorgon worked her up to 27 ish by the station, then made her have it through Langcliffe and held her at 35 ish to the cottages then eased her to let speed decay for the viaduct, once clear he pushed her noisily to the tunnel, the rest of the run to Appleby and thence to Carlisle was textbook for a Jub. Ron Smith for the return . Extremely enjoyable, so far....

Totally different on the return, things were relatively ok to Appleby, we accelerated away well, but approaching KS she began to steadily slow to around 18 mph through the station, no apparent reason, light feather at the valves but clear at the chimney, no brakes dragging, on beat, obviously not firing ? Only thing I can think is injector trouble, fire cleaning, or was it being eased for a beautiful run up Mallerstang on a stunning evening, without a throbbing Jubilee exhaust breaking the tranquility ? on we went with the merest hint of acceleration, then eventually some smoke, to fly over the top at 25mph...From here the increase in speed was more discernible, probably due to gravity, finally reaching line speed by Garsdale, where it was held for the majority of return to Hellifield.
