My own photograph from Eldroth, in conditions we only dream about!

There's no doubt about it we have some fine photographs and videos here from all those who get out there in whatever the weather. Today, with the dusting of snow, made the scene perfect for a Santa train.

They keep on coming well done Ian
Thanks to all for the superb images of today's run! I was on board with my son/daughter-in-law and grandaughter and we had an amazing time WCRC looked after everyone superbly from the minute they stepped on board! They have the main-line Santa train theme down to a fine art, offering great family entertainment at a very modest price. The little one (aged only two) was fully engaged throughout and walked away with a bag full of goodies An added bonus was the one hour pause at Hellifield where all the kids enjoyed some playful snowballing. I don't know how WCRC do it for the price.
And they keep on coming .Cracker Bob
Fantastic show from West Coast again with four different runs with various motive power but the main thing being that it was all about the Kiddies enjoining themselves which obviously happened.

Appropriate weather for the final 'Santa Special' for 2019, 'Scots Guardsman' makes a fine sight at Crag Lane
Working away from Long Preston in some welcome sunshine
Breaking out of Gisburn Tunnel
And finally home sweet home
Well you could be forgiven for thinking its midnight at Carnforth with the clock stopped at twelve o'clock, it looks so bright I have never seen it so bright there, amazing what a camera can do these days, very nice.

I should add that the thumbnail is taken from a shot filmed by my father, Peter Ainsworth.
