Thanks for the kind words. Sorry I don't know the split; watering took place away from platforms so there was no chance of a stroll. I did a quick count as the train drew into Lancaster and later saw on a vid that behind 48151 it was POB, 2 dining, kitchen, then ? I hope that you have as a good a time as we did, for those travelling this coming Sunday, snow is forecast which should add to the ambiance - I'm sure everyone will appreciate the eth.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm sure that you will all have a wonderful time - if you've been good all year! Some of the elves had been naughty - all the good elves warned us about a very naughty elf named Bubbles.

I can only conclude you lack the self awareness to know how some posts you make come across as being quite nasty in a personalised way.
For example, in this thread you expressed concern about passive agression yet not that long ago you publicly insinuated negatively about my character, based on ......? That felt like passive aggression to me. Additionally you routinely challenge the motives of posters by claiming to know they have grudges, axes, history, malign intent etc - where are your facts? More passive aggression.

I realise this will probably not be publicly acknowledged but please hold to the principle you espoused and debate the opinions rather than tge person...

Great images guys, I expected to see more snow "up North" it so unusual when the heavier snow fall is further south.

Not strictly correct, I am cotswolds born and bred and we used to on average get at least a week off school each year due to snow, I have now lived in the NE then NW for 24 years and have never in that time experienced snow like we used to in the 'shire.

The snow up here over the weekend was very wet and thus little settled.
