A couple of interesting alterations to the schedule for this weeks WSE is that the loading for the train is set at 5029 + support coach + 8 coaches. Also the pick up for passengers at Keynsham at 09:02-09:04 has been reinstated. This change may reflect how many punters wish to join the train at Keynsham. If anyone knows anything different about these alterations (Ben?), please update. <BJ>

Thanks Bill, I was wondering whether I would go out for it this Sunday, the forecast is not brilliant,a little rain and wind for Yeovil area but with an extra coach and rain I might venture out.

The 2 intrusive lineside bushes near the tunnel-mouth have mysteriously disappeared! Hmm!

Am I getting predictable and boring with my choice of locations? I dont have a car at the moment so it has to be close to Yetminster....

Well I like the photo a lot. The lights under the bridge and their reflection, plus the firebox glow really make it. Good one. They don't all have to be 3/4 front shots in full sunshine! IMHO.

And while you were using 1250 ISO on your D7000, I was up to 3200 ISO on mine. With the 300mm f4 Nikon Prime lens taking what could be the last shot of the sole remaining Juvenile Barn Owl at Elmley RSPB on the Isle of Sheppey. The other 4 having all fully fledged and flown the nest.

Am looking forward very much to some low light autumn/winter steam loco photography with the D7000 using my Nikon f1.8 50mm lens.

Anyway. Thanks again for posting that lovely photo.

Thanks Bryan. Quality of pictures from the D7000 are outstanding, just a shame the same can not be said about the meter! At least it constantly over exposes by a 1/3 of a stop so you can work round it.

Anyone got any suggestions of decent locations to photo on the line at north out of Castle Carey that isn't too far from there. I am on the nearby show ground with work for the next few weeks and can't afford to go far
