No I do not currently volunteer
What I like to expect is exactly what I got at the ELR on Saturday.

The price of the day rover ticket offered great value for money.
The staff were all very friendly & helpful.
The range of locos was good.
I could have spent all day stood on bury station watching all the other works & general loco movements.
The food was really good & at a good price.

My only complaint was the day wasn't long enough - it never will be.......
    &
Only one or two people could have been more mindful of the photographers behind them, and yes, everybody has the right to be there & if it hadn't been for the fact that the people getting in the way were actually other photographers, then I wouldn't have any right to complain - my little rant over!

The ability to obtain through sensible routes a lineside permit, even an annual one, on top of membership?
