Don't let the British Legion know ! They might transfer allegiance from the Patriot Project ;)

Or.... once 45551 is complete we could do a Tornado and build a second engine.... and do an original Royal Scot! Call it Royal British Legion......

RYTC are going to try double-headed Jubilee Crewe-Shap-Carlisle-S&C-Crewe early 2015.

When will the S&C reopen after the planned eng works?

To be honest, I'm surprised about the series being there w/ 70013 and 46115 doing the rest of the runs. The question is does RYTC know something that we don't because their are3 weeks between the February 28 and March 21 so between those dates, is that when the S&C is going to be closed?

Something that will effect the trips from Euston on a couple of dates : -

West Coast Mainline closed at Watford on the following dates according to the Network Rail website
    • Saturday 14 February 2015 to Monday 16 February 2015 (start of school half term)
    • Saturday 21 February 2015 to Monday 23 February 2015

Well why would they close West Coast Main Line it on a valentine's day weekend? Now that does not make since.

Half term = fewer season ticket holders travelling = less compensation to pay for disruption of service.
