    I got home around 8 ish today.

    Great tour today and thanks to all involved in running it, No9 was certainly on form again and nice to see the sun out most of the day.

    I did leave some dodgy blokes behind on the train at Blackburn, claimed they were moderators on some sort of online railway preservation forum or other, eating deep fried battered haggis and consuming beer as though it was going out of fashion, then when they got to Carlisle I think they invaded some drinking establishment called Wetherspoons whilst I headed for the temperance bar and a walk round to appreciate the local history and culture :whistle: I think next time I will go first class to avoid the riff raff... :biggrin1:

    some guy from Lancashire left a strange bottle called "Get Thi Coit.. Thas pulled"...on the train tonight sure it wasn't a southerner...Barnsley Beer Company is on'th label.

    Back home 8.30pm, great day out, No 9 and her crew did a fine job yet again. There were some strange passengers about and even some consuming copious amounts of alcohol. But I left at Crewe so I don't know how they got on after that.....
