"National Preservation - First For News!" Great stuff, chaps; good quality and in time for the 7 o'clock bulletin! :)

Stephen - how many cameras were you using today? Three?

Thanks John that seems to have done the trick. Normally when using Pinnacle Studio I never have any problems, but either there is a fault with the camera or the cable as I could only download to Windows Movie maker, and it's so long since I used it that I cannot remember how to stretch it in the editing...
Found it now, there is a setting for 'wide screen quality'.

Well now - if there is anyone who has not already seen enough of this mornings action from the wonderful videos already posted I have another one. Sadly nothing remarkable but I enjoyed watching Ollie while I was filming it!!

700013 Oliver Cromwell on The Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express - 11/02/2012 - YouTube

Plenty of background noise at Bamber Bridge Station, just managed to get ahead of the train for a very long shot between Gisburn and Paythorne and a very grey day at Ribblehead.

Yes pretty gloomy (I was up at Ais Gill in the murk) but that's one fantastic, moody shot Henry - superb.

What a fantastis day out, Ollie was on fine form, highlights for me were Ais Gil with the regulator in the roof, at just over 60mph at the summit the noise was defening hanging out of the window in the front coach and the climb to Shap Summit from Carlisle on the return was a crescendo of noise from the front end. Special thanks to RTC for putting a standard class coach at the other end of the train meaning I could get a front window in both directions.

Some good vids and pics considering the conditions you have to put up with up North.

Seeing as I most likely won't be out for the next two weekend's tours ( Sadly, I make plans on the two interesting runs! Not good thinking by myself ), here are some photos during the past three weekends, with yesterday's actually being the only time I could spare a day to go photting! :

A great way to kick off the railtour year! Thanks to all the gen posters, RYTC, WCRC and respective loco crews for their great efforts to running these great tours! Only wish I could have had more time to see them all and the forth-coming runs.
