Wirksworth Carnival Event at Ecclesbourne Valley Railway...

    All,

    Just a note about this weekends event weekend at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway, Wirksworth, Derbyshire. The railway is operating three days of intense services using several of our heritage diesel multiple units on both of our lines - the 3.5 mile trip to Idridgehay (7 miles round trip) and the 1/2 mile up the 1 in 27 incline to Ravenstor for the High Peak (1 mile round trip).

    The town is holding its annual Wirksworth Carnival event with all sorts going on, so it promises to be a brilliant weekend and the weather forecast is excellent too!
