    Hello All,

I have revisited the West Somerset Railway to be hauled by Class A1 4-6-2 60163 TORNADO and I am thankful to the locomotive's crew that I was allowed to "cab" (trainspotters term) her and get photos that that I am pleased with. An example is below.
I had a wonderful trip to this heritage railway and as usual everyone involved was polite and helpful.

Therefore please click on my link below and hopefully enjoy my results \:D/ .

    Best regards SteamHawk216 :smt006.

Photographs of Tornado, no diesels (yet).

the downside was near losing one of my glasses' lens in a patch of nettles just before the arrivals of Western Courier and Tornado at Kerr Moor. Not easy finding a spectacle lens in a nettle patch when wearing shorts and short sleeve shirt. Ouch.

I see that the footplate crews on modern, new-build steam locos don't use old-fashioned brew cans any more. They use disposable cups instead! Don't tell me - they've got a skinny latte in them. #-o

Always a feature of WSR how pleasant the whole atmosphere is.

But the tea probably tasted better out of the good old enamel can, though!
