    One of my favourites was at the SVR on a very cold day during the Santa special season. The 9F left Arley with a lot of steam and this woman said, "and that's the new clean coal that they use." I heard someone else say, "I wonder what they use the track for during the rest of the year?"

    I would just like to say a very big thank you to WSR for a very fine Gala. I was most impressed with the LMS 2-6-0 it put on a very good performance when I joined the first up train at Williton on Sunday, although I did hear it did struggle a bit on Washford Bank I suppose that was down to its light build. All in all a very good week end even if the weather could have been a bit kinder . Thank you WSR.
